What you’ll be doing :- Prepare and review monthly journal entries to support an accurate and efficient close process
- Analyze balance sheet accounts and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Partner with internal and external auditors to fulfill audit requests and ensure compliance
- Manage and review expense areas such as marketing, loyalty programs, payroll, compensation, benefits, and prepaid expenses
- Maintain strong internal controls and support SOX compliance processes
- Evaluate accruals, identify variances, and provide insights to business partners
- Partner with Finance, HR, Marketing, Payroll, and FP&A teams to align accounting with business activity
- Leverage multiple systems and data sources to validate transactions and support accounting conclusions
- Support reporting and forecasting for assigned balance sheet and income statement areas
- Review reconciliations prepared by offshore teams and collaborate to improve accuracy and efficiency
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls, and implement automation
- Demonstrated public or corporate accounting experience

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- CPA certification or master's degree in accounting or finance
- Experience managing projects
- Experience in retail or a similar industry or larger organization
