Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. This individual will support a variety of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who can work independently while collaborating across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient financial operations.
This position offers exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute to strategic financial initiatives, operational improvements, and financial analysis efforts.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of accounting, finance, audit, or financial analysis experience
- CPA or CFA designation is a plus, but not required
- Experience with in financial services, professional services, public accounting, or other complex financial environments preferred
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prepare and analyze internal financial statements and management reports
- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and reporting efficiencies
- Assist with external audits and other financial reviews as needed
- Document and enhance financial procedures and workflows
- Participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with ERP, accounting, or financial reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non‑financial audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
- Intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation: $90‑105k
