Overview
Back Tax Manager – Framingham, Massachusetts. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in office.
Salary: $125,000 - $165,000 per year. Job type:
Permanent.
- Sales & Use Tax
- Systematize compliance across all entities to mitigate audit risk, including nexus studies and exemption certificate management - LLM experience helpful
- Manage R&D tax credit studies
- M&A Support
- Provide internal tax due diligence for targets - Transfer Pricing
- Maintain defensible documentation and policies to support international business and minimize exposure - State & Local Compliance
- Manage franchise, excise, and property tax obligations - Vendor Management
- Act as the primary gatekeeper for external accounting firms, ensuring outside resources are used only for specialized advisory needs - This role will expand into increasingly complex fund-adjacent tax matters.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar
- 5+ years of Tax experience
- CPA, MBA, JD, all helpful in this role
