Position: Airflow Visualization Specialist (Aseptic / GMP)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Airflow Visualization Specialist with a strong manufacturing background in aseptic processing within GMP-regulated cleanroom environments. This role plays a critical part in executing contamination control studies that support manufacturing quality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in airflow visualization with a deep understanding of GMP and GDP principles to ensure studies are performed accurately and protocols are executed flawlessly, while fostering effective collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities 1. Equipment and Inventory Management
  • Operate, clean, and maintain all airflow visualization equipment in compliance with GMP standards, demonstrating diligence and accountability.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit detailed cleaning and maintenance logs to ensure equipment reliability and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage inventory of all necessary equipment and consumables proactively, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to avoid project delays.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and shared understanding.
2. Execution of Airflow Visualization Studies
  • Lead the setup, calibration, and operation of specialized airflow visualization equipment including smoke generators, particle counters, and video capture devices, maintaining a high level of precision and professionalism.
  • Execute airflow visualization studies according to established protocols, ensuring all technical procedures meet regulatory and client requirements with strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously, maintaining integrity and accuracy in all records.
  • Monitor study progress actively, addressing technical challenges promptly and collaborating openly with quality assurance and validation teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure environmental conditions and equipment performance are consistently monitored and documented throughout each study, upholding compliance and transparency.
  • Maintain thorough and organized records of all study activities, deviations, and corrective actions to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
3. Protocol Development and Compliance
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of airflow visualization protocols aligned with GDP and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with quality assurance, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure protocols reflect current regulatory guidelines and client-specific requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and well-organized documentation throughout the protocol lifecycle, demonstrating a commitment to good documentation practices.
  • Support the closure of protocols by compiling final study documentation that meets organizational and regulatory expectations.
4. Video Production and Reporting
  • Capture high-quality video footage of airflow visualization studies with attention to detail and professionalism, ensuring footage meets client and regulatory standards.
  • Organize, label, and archive video data systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and long-term storage, maintaining data integrity.
  • Produce polished final video reports that effectively communicate study outcomes and support validation requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance video production workflows, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve team efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Engineering or equivalent experience; 3+ years in aseptic processing/cleanroom/GMP environments.
