Job SummaryUnder minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
- Completes required exams, sends studies to the reading station for radiologist review, and completes all associated documentation.
- Performs complex diagnostic MRI procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
- Provides excellent patient care while producing high quality diagnostic images.
- Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
- AMRIT and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training.
- Must obtain MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.
- BLS certification.
- State license if required.
- Preferred:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
- ARRT (MR) certification.
