We are currently hiring caregivers for:

• Long Day Shifts – $20/hour

• Short Day Shifts – $23/hour

• Per Diem / Flexible Scheduling

• Opportunities for additional shifts/pay increase based on client needs and caregiver availability

You choose the shifts that work with your availability.

As a First Light caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one support that helps our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life at home.

Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living

• Assisting with mobility and safe transfers

• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation

• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping

• Providing medication reminders

• Assisting with errands, appointments, and transportation

• Observing and communicating changes in a client's condition

• Following individual care plans

• Completing required documentation

• Providing dependable, compassionate support to clients and their families

Every shift matters. The care you provide can make someone's day safer, easier, and more enjoyable while giving their family greater peace of mind.

We're looking for caregivers who are compassionate, professional, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping others.

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience — professional or family caregiving experience considered

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care

• Dependable and committed to scheduled shifts

• Strong communication skills

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver's license is a plus for transporting clients to appointments (if applicable)

• Ability to follow care plans and communicate appropriately with clients, families, and the First Light team

CNA or HHA certification is a plus, but is NOT required for all caregiver positions.

Our per diem scheduling model allows you to provide your availability and pick up shifts that fit your schedule, based on available client needs.
