Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike.

We are seeking to hire a Registered Dietitian - Perdiem.

$40 to $45 per hour perdiem rate based on skills and experience.

Registered Dietitian

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• 2 years Clinical Nutrition experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care.
• Excellent client services, organization and communication skills are essential.

Registered Dietitian

Job Summary:

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of residents in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Assess/Monitor the residents' nutritional status and provides recommendations to clinical/medical staff.
• Educate residents, families and staff on nutritional concepts and diet modification.
• Work with other members of the team to ensure that modified texture or therapeutic diets are in compliance with the resident's medical condition.
• Practice management by rounding.
• Participate in care conferences and the communication of nutritional updates to residents and representatives as needed.
• Complete resident nutritional assessments.
