The Junior Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist provides diversified operational support for hourly hiring within Distribution Centers to ensure evolving business needs are met. This role serves as a key liaison between candidates, Recruiters, and Distribution Center HR partners, delivering an excellent employment brand experience while managing high-volume recruiting workflows with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Major Areas of Responsibility- Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Provide diversified operational support to multiple Recruiters and Distribution Center locations in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
. - Act as a liaison and business partner between Recruiters and Distribution Center HR teams.
- Schedule and coordinate onsite and virtual interviews
. - Draft and send offer letters to candidates.
- Initiate, monitor, and adjudicate pre‑employment background checks
, including employment and education verifications. - Partner with internal stakeholders (Distribution Center HR, HR Compliance, HR Xpress, Payroll) to ensure accurate new hire records and documentation.
- Communicate proactively with candidates via email, phone, and text
. - Track applicant flow in real time, manage transactions in the ATS, maintain accurate Excel tracking, and prepare candidates for orientation.
- Effectively manage 100+ candidates per week during peak hiring periods.
- Core business hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility required to support weekends and extended hours during peak periods
- Hybrid role with occasional in‑office presence as business needs dictate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to multitask in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow‑through skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
- Experience supporting high‑volume or hourly hiring environments
- Strong problem‑solving and prioritization skills
- Ability to build credible, trustworthy relationships
