Talent Manager, Employee Relations, HR Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Our Greater Boston retail client is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and shape their human resources initiatives. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to champion a dynamic, family-oriented company culture known for its meticulous attention to fit, feel, and quality. The HR Director will serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and drive HR excellence across corporate and retail operations, fostering an inclusive environment where innovation and personal touch are at the forefront.

Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to support people strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Contribute to initiatives that promote employee engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support recruiting efforts and hiring processes to help meet evolving workforce needs.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new hires.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance discussions, and workplace concerns.
- Oversee core HR operations, including payroll administration, in alignment with company standards and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits and related programs.
- Help ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that reflects company values.
- Support the ongoing improvement of HR processes, systems, and reporting as the organization grows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Experience working in retail, fashion, or consumer-facing environments is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in payroll management and wage/hour compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong strategic mindset balanced with practical execution skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
