Security And Compliance Specialist

Hybrid preferred (1-2 days onsite at the Framingham, MA office), open to remote candidates

Working with Staples’ customers and partners to address their security and compliance needs.

Supporting the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team with broad involvement in risk management operations.

Provide direct customer request response including monitoring the Customer Trust mailbox and escalating requests as needed.

Responding to customer inquiries through a platform or spreadsheet

Interface with business units, procurement, legal, customers and vendors to ensure that security goals and policies are enforced and communicated

Skills:

• Ability to provide security and compliance expertise to existing and prospective customers.
• Ability to contribute to security documentation.
• Ability to partner with technical and non-technical business teams on security-related processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
• Prior Governance Risk and Compliance or Legal experience preferred
• Prior Cyber Security or Technology experience preferred

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years in a customer service environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
