Integrated Insurance Solutions (IIS) is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager who values strong client relationships, problem-solving, and teamwork. At IIS, we combine modern technology with personalized service, giving you the tools, support, and autonomy to manage an established book of business, advise clients, and collaborate with producers as the business grows.
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for IIS clients and work closely with producers, carriers, and the rest of our service team.
- Manage and develop relationships with an established book of commercial clients.
- Partner with producers to onboard and service new accounts.
- Coordinate the renewal process, including gathering information, reviewing coverage needs, preparing submissions, and working with carriers.
- Review policies and coverage to help ensure accuracy and identify potential gaps or changing client needs.
- Respond to client questions and service requests accurately and promptly.
- Work with insurance carriers and underwriters to resolve coverage, pricing, and service issues.
- Support clients with endorsements, certificates, claims questions, and other ongoing insurance needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete account information within the agency management system.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand coverage where appropriate.
Required qualifications include:
- At least three years of commercial lines experience within an insurance agency.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and terminology.
- Experience managing client relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while being an effective member of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and commercial insurance rating systems.
- Experience with Applied EPIC or a comparable agency management system.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Exposure to professional lines.
- An active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license is preferred.
- A sense of urgency is important. A sense of humor helps too.
