Job Overview
Position: Family Law Attorney, Of Counsel (part time/full time)
Location: Framingham, Metrowest/Greater Boston Area – onsite 2 days per week.
Salary: $70 - $100 per hour (commensurate with experience).
Role DetailsMinimum 20 hours/week billing requirement, hourly pay $100 per hour commensurate with experience. Pay is based on hours worked, not only hours billed, and includes time for team meetings, CLE trainings, etc. The firm provides professional liability insurance and pays for all CLEs (required by the firm or desired by the attorney).
Responsibilities- Represent clients primarily in divorce and paternity cases, including modifications, child support, restraining orders, and contempt actions.
- Conduct client consultations at the Framingham office at least twice per week.
- Represent clients in court and negotiate settlement resolutions.
- Manage own caseload as lead attorney.
- Collaborate with managing attorney and support staff, using the firm’s case‑management system extensively and proficiently.
- Strong negotiation and oral advocacy skills.
- Courtroom experience.
- 3+ years of family law experience.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing high‑conflict situations/cases.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
