An established consumer-services organization is seeking a District Operations Manager to strengthen leadership, profitability, and operational execution across a group of high-volume service locations.
The organization is open to different industry backgrounds. The priority is finding a sharp, analytical leader who understands how to evaluate a business, ask the right questions, develop managers, and turn performance data into practical action.
- Take ownership of business performance across multiple customer-facing locations.
- Coach location managers on sales, staffing, labor, service, profitability, and team performance.
- Identify performance trends and determine why individual locations are succeeding or falling behind.
- Build operating plans that improve execution without sacrificing the customer experience.
- Recruit, develop, and retain strong location leaders.
- Communicate field results, risks, staffing issues, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
- Successful multi-unit management experience.
- Experience holding location leaders accountable for measurable results.
- Strong financial and operational understanding, including P&L and labor management.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to solve complex people or operating problems.
- A visible, hands-on leadership style with strong follow-through.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel regularly between locations.
- Background in automotive services or another high-volume service environment.
- Experience with geographically dispersed locations.
- Experience developing managers who were later promoted.
- Broad ownership and autonomy within an established operation.
- Ability to shape leadership quality throughout an entire market.
