Test Engineering Tech – Contract to Perm – Framingham, MA
Use of hand tools and electric tools that are common to a machine shop.
Build a variety of wiring harnesses.
Assemble mechanical assemblies per instructions and assembly drawings.
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies.
Prepare test reports fixtures.
Participate in daily Lab meetings.
Able to work in a shop environment with medium level noise.
Ability to operate safely in a lab and machine shop environment.
Move test fixtures and equipment to and from offsite storage.
Experience with AC / DC circuits.
Experience with reading electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
Experience working in an electronics lab.
Experience working in a machine shop.
Experience with electronic test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, logic analyzers).
Mechanical or Electronics degree, certification, or equivalent training required.
2 – 5 years' experience as an electromechanical technician.
