Bethany Hill Place is a vibrant housing and education nonprofit dedicated to welcoming all neighbors, cultivating belonging, and advancing social justice in meaningful and transformative ways. Located in Framingham, MA, we combine affordable housing with educational opportunities to empower individuals and families toward stability and growth.
We are seeking a mission-driven and collaborative Program Manager (Temporary) to join our community during an important period of transition. This individual will walk alongside residents, strengthen community partnerships, and help sustain high-quality educational and social programming while key staff are on leave or positions are being filled.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a community rooted in dignity, inclusion, and hope. The ideal candidate will be someone who feels inspired by this work and is able to commit to the full, mutually agreed-upon term of service.
This is an on-site position based in Framingham, MA, anticipated to run approximately 2–6 months, with a start date approximately 2–4 weeks after hire. There is potential for extension based on organizational needs and available funding.

Pay Range: $32–$38 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, occasional evenings and weekends as needed
part-time or full-time (20–40 hours per week) depending on candidate availability and program needs.
Essential Functions- Provide one-on-one support to residents, including active listening, goal setting, referrals, and light case management.
- Monitor resident progress and maintain accurate records to track outcomes and program impact.
- Plan and coordinate community-building events such as seasonal celebrations, workshops, and resident gatherings.
- Lead small group programming and enrichment activities for residents.
- Recruit, onboard, and support volunteers; ensure required documentation (including CORI) is completed.
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate workshops, services, and resident programming.
- Support youth programming, including after-school and summer activities.
- Track participation, collect data, and assist with reporting on program outcomes.
- Maintain clear and accessible communication with residents, including coordinating translation as needed.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive community presence aligned with Bethany Hill Place’s mission and values.
- Other duties assigned by the Executive Director to support organizational needs.
- Background in social work, human services, education, nonprofit management, or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience supporting residents, providing referrals, or working in a community-based setting preferred.
- Experience coordinating programs, events, or volunteers preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse communities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google tools, Zoom, and similar technology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Haitian Creole, or Portuguese) a plus.
