Community Relations Specialist

Location:
Hybrid – Framingham/Marlborough, MA (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Pay: $30–$39.25/hr.

Seeking a Community Relations Specialist with 3–8 years of experience in nonprofit, grant, or community relations. This role supports grant and sponsorship programs, database management, reporting, budgeting, and coordination with nonprofit partners and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain grant program trackers, budgets, statuses, and reporting.
• Support grant and sponsorship requests, including nonprofit vetting and initial reviews.
• Coordinate grant requests through the grant management system.
• Serve as a database resource and troubleshooting contact for nonprofit partners and applicants.
• Track event sponsor ships and guest lists.
• Support research and other Community Relations projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 3–8 years of coordination experience in nonprofit, grants, or community relations.
• Experience with database management, reporting, and/or data analytics.
• Intermediate Excel skills; proficiency with Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, processes, and stakeholders independently.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Preferred: Nonprofit sector experience, Blackbaud/iGAM, and Power BI reporting experience.
