Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner; Child, Adolescent and Adult

The Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center is one of the largest community health centers in Massachusetts serving Worcester, Framingham, Milford and the surrounding communities.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in an ambulatory setting, coordinating care with supervising physicians and collaborating with multidisciplinary providers to support patient and family self‑management, health center projects, and employ effective health‑literacy communication strategies.

• Provides psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults with acute psychiatric problems and preventive health services.
• Provides telehealth services to patients.
• Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and uses diagnostic testing and consultations according to clinical protocols.
• Collaborates on care with primary care providers.
• Collaborates on referrals to other specialty medical and mental health services.
• Consults or refers patients with complex or dynamic medical problems to their physician partner.

• Active, unrestricted license in Massachusetts as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Active, unrestricted Controlled Substance Number in Massachusetts.
• 3+ years of prior experience working with children and adolescents as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule of both remote and onsite appointments.
• Salary is between $120,000 and $140,000, depending on experience level.
