This role provides direct clinical patient care. The RN will assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per shift basis and at the unit level. The RN will be responsible for supervising staff to which appropriate care is delegated and will support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical patient care for assigned patients.
- Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for nursing, demonstrating effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide high‑quality patient care.
- Maintain competency of clinical staff and assist with resource management.
- Education: Graduated from a state‑approved school of nursing or an accredited school. (Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing.)
- Certifications: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law/regulation in the state of practice; CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
