Job SummaryThis role provides direct clinical patient care. It involves assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and at the unit level. The RN is responsible for supervising staff to whom appropriate care may be delegated, supporting the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining the competency of clinical staff, and managing resources related to patient care.
Responsibilities- The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients and assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
- Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
- Performs and fulfills all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed by the facility during emergencies or disasters.
- Manages the Hospital’s emergency codes, understanding the purpose and appropriate action for each code and adheres to Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required:
- Education:
Graduated from a state‑approved school of nursing or an accredited school. - Certification:
Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy. - CPR
Preferred:
- Education:
Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's).
$33.50 - $70.66. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
