Common Diagnosis/Treatment: MI, Severe Sepsis, detox, surgical, TPA Stroke, Cardiogenic shock, GI bleeding, DKA, heart failure, respiratory distress # of Beds: 12 Nurse Patient Ratio:
Typically 1:1 and 1:2 (ICU), CVU:
Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:4 Charting: cerner Scrub Color: no color preference Areas of Float Support: CVU Special Procedures: A-lines, thoracentesis, balloon pumps, cardioversions, lumbar punctures, and line placements

Required Qualifications
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
