Description:
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Deliver direct primary care and preventive services to children, adolescents, and adults
- Develop therapeutic care plans for prevention, management, and maintenance of good health
- Provide health education and counseling
- Manage acute and chronic illness and urgent care needs, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and mentor other team members
- Provide prenatal/postnatal care for uncomplicated pregnancies, in conjunction with physician partners, as approved by clinical privileges
- Provide family planning counseling and services
- Consult with and refer to physician partners for more complex cases
- Maintain and update EHR documentation per required standards
- Attend trainings, weekly provider/team meetings, and quality improvement projects
- Opportunity to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to NP, medical, and PA students
- May work a fluctuating schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as approved
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
- 3+ years of Primary Care NP experience a plus
