Hotham Veterinary Services in Presque Isle, ME is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian - Mixed Animal to our team. Potential opportunity for hospital ownership (equity or profits interest).

Hotham Veterinary Services is currently a 4-doctor practice with 2 locations:
Presque Isle and a second location in Houlton, Maine. We have a fantastic support team at each site and well-equipped hospitals that include ultrasound, full lab, and digital radiology. We provide and maintain a well-stocked ambulatory unit for large animal services.
- Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of small and large animal cases and treat surgically or medically
- Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
- Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Perform dentistry with opportunities for mentorship if desired
- Maintain a positive and supportive work environment
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Collaborating with team veterinarians on critical care cases
- Diagnose and treat everything equine, from dentistry, colic workup, lameness evaluation, and surgery
- Some dairy, beef, and camelid/small ruminant work are also available

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
- 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
- Internship training is also preferred but not required
- Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
