A leading precision manufacturing client is looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to support a growing inspection backlog within an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.
You'll play a key role in developing and optimizing Zeiss Calypso inspection programs, improving inspection throughput, and partnering with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to support the production of complex, tight-tolerance components.
What You'll Do- Develop, edit, and optimize CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso.
- Create inspection routines for precision mechanical components supporting production and part release.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection plans.
- Troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection efficiency.
- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Tooling teams to support production.
- Support fixture concepts, inspection setup, and documentation for complex components.
- 2+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience.
- Hands on experience using Zeiss Calypso.
- Excellent understanding of GD&T, metrology, and dimensional inspection.
- Experience programming for complex, tight-tolerance mechanical components.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
- Fixture design or inspection fixturing experience is a plus.
