Position: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE II (contract)

Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking a Research Associate II for a 12-month contract.

Job Description

The Research Associate will be responsible for the execution and analysis of experiments and analytical procedures in support of process development and laboratory operations. This role requires a strong investigative and technical orientation, performing routine scientific procedures under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and analyze experiments and analytical procedures according to established protocols.
  • Investigate basic technical problems and troubleshoot routine laboratory issues.
  • Plan and prioritize concurrent experimental procedures, integrating and compiling data.
  • Assist supervisor in the analysis and interpretation of results and may present findings to team members.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of experiments and lab activities.
  • Contribute to milestones and deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Operate under active supervision and follow established procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Participate in team collaborations, frequent internal company contacts, and occasional inter-departmental interactions.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline required
Experience
  • 2–3 years post-school laboratory experience preferred
  • Experience executing HPLC and supporting assays
  • Hands‑on experience with liquid handling
Technical Skills / Must‑Have
  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) operation
  • Working knowledge of assay execution and sample processing
  • Laboratory automation and liquid handling techniques
  • Data integration, tabulation, and basic analysis
  • Familiarity with laboratory documentation and compliance practices
Training
  • Training will be provided on proprietary Sanofi software

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Quick learner and open‑minded
  • Comfortable with on‑site work and hands‑on laboratory tasks
