Compensation

Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance payments, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  • Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including team member execution on programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, & Rock the Lot.
  • Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours (lunch, late‑afternoons, evenings, weekends).
  • Assist the store manager with setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring team members complete individual training.
  • Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members.
  • Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
  • Process all buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub‑to‑store, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers when shipments arrive.
  • Use the electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special and outside orders efficiently and in accordance with procedures.
  • Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friend lily, issue refunds accurately with the correct payment method, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area.
  • Invoice all merchandise – including core charges and warranties – before product leaves the store.
  • Communicate Zipline messages and delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure team members comply with company policies, adhere to posted work schedules, obtain approval for changes or deviations, and clock in/out correctly.
  • Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying and securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night‑time security lights are on, locking doors, securing the building, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
  • Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage and lighting, computer hardware, in‑store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required:

    Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
  • Desired:
    Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
