Your Day at Lowe’sAs a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe’s, help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, and ensure all customer needs are met. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and organize merchandise as required.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
- Down‑stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
- Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
- Cross‑train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
- Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.
- 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
- Bi‑lingual skills.
- Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials).
This role does not require regular travel; however, it may need occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.
Working ConditionsEnvironmental factors vary by location. You may work in both inside and outside weather conditions and may be exposed to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. You may also be exposed to constant or intermittent noises. Lifting limits are governed by guidelines: single lifts are limited to 75 lbs; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 lbs or when needed.
Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Pay RangePay Range: $17.00 – $18.40 per hour.
