About the RoleWe are looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Executive to join our New Business Sales Team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, keep reading!
What You’ll DoYou will run the entire new business sales cycle. Your outbound effort will be complemented by inbound leads and inside sales support as you research prospective customers, develop outreach strategies, identify prospects, demo decision makers, and close business.
- Research, identify, and connect with individuals and corporations who would be strong prospects for Definitive Healthcare solutions.
- Partner with internal Marketing and Inside Sales teams to follow‑up all leads within your assigned territory.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects and key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and the C‑Suite to identify opportunities and secure new business.
- Manage all facets of complex sales cycles.
- Close new business consistently at or above quota level.
- Accurately forecast opportunities and update the CRM.
- BA or BS degree.
- 4+ years of individual quota‑carrying/closing sales experience.
- Documented evidence of being a top producer.
- Expertise delivering product demonstrations via the web.
- Experience in a cold‑calling sales environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Powerful work ethic with energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm.
The salary range for this position is $68,000 – $128,000 per year, representing the base pay the company reasonably in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual pay within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible to participate in a company bonus or commission plan. All employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, unlimited paid time off, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
