Framingham, MA – Salary Range: $144k – $270k – Full‑time

Role Overview

Definitive Healthcare is hiring a Director, Account Management to lead a quota‑carrying sales team focused on driving growth, renewal, and retention of existing client accounts. The role requires hands‑on sales involvement, coaching, and team leadership.

About the Role

As Director, you will hire, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, set performance standards, and collaborate closely with team members to identify and close opportunities within current accounts. Success will be measured by quota attainment, retention and growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual team revenue quotas and KPI targets
  • Build a metrics‑based culture of excellence, focused on activity, accountability, and achievement
  • Assist in all phases of the sales process: prospecting, value proposition, product demonstration, follow‑up, and closing
  • Hire, train, and develop new team members to reach their full potential
  • Create a positive high‑performance work environment that celebrates success
  • Co‑mentor and instill leadership and management best practices
  • Identify training needs and support the creation and deployment of effective training programs
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of inside sales experience
  • 3+ years of front‑line sales management experience with a process‑oriented mindset
  • Proven success in a high‑velocity sales environment
  • Hands‑on approach to prospecting, upsell opportunities, contract renewals, and closing
  • Track record of consistent over‑achievement as both an individual contributor and manager
  • Passion for developing team members and promoting a growth mindset
  • High energy, motivation, and commitment to sustained excellence
  • Ability to lead and work dynamically in both office and remote settings

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $ – $ per year (base pay decided by experience and qualifications). Eligible for company bonus or commission plan. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, unlimited paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer contribution and match.
