OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – NEW ENGLAND
We have been retained by a well-established building-products manufacturer that is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to take ownership of the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire territory.
This is a true territory-development opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers, developing relationships and creating new business.
What you’ll be doing :- Develop and grow relationships with lumberyards, dealers, contractors and other building-products customers
- Expand existing business while identifying and pursuing new opportunities
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through close
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers throughout the territory
- Partner with internal teams to ensure customers receive the right products and support
- Develop a strategic plan for continued territory growth
- Proven outside sales experience, preferably in building products, construction or a related industry
- Strong relationships within the New England building-products market are highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new accounts and grow revenue
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel throughout MA, RI and NH
