Overview
Sustainable Talent is teaming up with a global leader in the clinical diagnostics, environmental, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics testing as well as in agro-sciences CRO (Contract Research Organization) services to grow their team. We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician 2 to support our clients' scaling labs with Covid testing.
This position is based in Framingham, MA and is a Temp to Perm position. Pay between $20-22/hr based on experience. This role is available for the day shift:
Tues-Sat. 11a-7:30pm with potential to do 4 days of 10hrs.
- Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of test examinations.
- Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
- Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
- Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
- Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and must immediately notify the supervisor, manager or director.
- Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- 1 – 2 years' experience
- New to the clinical laboratory testing environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills and analytical skills
