Superior Communication Services is hiring a Structured Cabling Technician who builds it the first way.

You'll be the one running copper and fiber through telecom rooms and risers on commercial jobsites across the country, work that doesn't show up on a tour but holds up everything that does.

Our cabling work spans telecom room buildouts, rack and stack, cable plant maintenance, and full install/terminate/test on copper and fiber. We work with product lines from Panduit, Legrand, Comm Scope, Belden, and Corning, on commercial and enterprise sites across the country.

You'll rough in and terminate copper and fiber cabling, run pathway supports like J-hooks, ladder trays, and conduit, and build out telecom rooms and equipment closets: backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels, and fiber enclosures. You'll test everything you install with certification equipment (Fluke DSX or equivalent) and troubleshoot cable plant issues in live commercial environments. No two jobsites look the same, and the work moves fast.

You know the difference between a bad termination and a bad test result, and you fix it before it becomes someone else's problem

You're comfortable working independently once you know the scope of a job

You care about clean cable management as much as a working connection

You show up on time, every time, and you don't cut corners when nobody's watching

BICSI certification (RCDD, Installer 1/2, Technician)

Fusion splicing experience

Manufacturer certifications with Panduit, Legrand, Comm Scope, or Corning

Background in sports team leadership. Plenty of our best techs were captains, coaches, or team leaders in competitive sports before they ever picked up a cable puller, and that same drive and accountability shows up in their work.
