SummaryResponsible for day‑to‑day functions of New Beginnings, a 12‑unit residential program for single adults with HIV/AIDS. Supervise HOPWA program staff who can provide service to up to 65 clients. Recruit and supervise HOPWA Housing Advocate/Case Manager in all aspects of client financial distributions, housing searches and case management, work closely with COC Navigator to gain access to new referrals, while ensuring program compliance for each, including program audits.

- Supervise HOPWA staff, provide support to outside clients, and administer a 12‑unit residential program for single adults with HIV/AIDS.
- Oversee leases/recertification, rent collection, rent roll, reminders, late notices, and housing court if necessary.
- Assist clients in understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of work.
- Attend & participate in team meetings as requested and communicate effectively with clients, HOPWA staff and Manager in other areas.
- Work closely with COC Navigator to obtain new housing referrals and ensure accurate documentation is gathered.
- Network with community providers internally/externally to maximize service delivery and reduce duplication of services.
- Ensure that clients have connections to HIV medical care, involve consumers in service delivery.
- Train, evaluate and supervise the HOPWA Housing Advocate/Case Manager by providing timely mentoring and performance management.
- Assist in completing required paperwork and case notes in accordance to policy.
- Work closely with New Beginnings/HOPWA Manager to ensure service compliance and reports are completed as required quarterly/yearly.
- Assist clients/HOPWA Case manager in setting up appointments/transportation.
- Transition rooms between resident move‑in/move‑out, cleaning out and setting up for new referral.
- Collaborate with maintenance and property management regarding work order and community concerns.
- Prepare and set up for community meetings/celebrations, relapse prevention groups.
- Order supplies for units/office.
- Provide support and advocacy to residents individually in office/apartments as necessary.
- Coordinate collection, distribution of donations and storage of donations.
- Assist in E‑time adherence, enter supply orders, travel and distributions into Microix.
- Provide recovery support to residents at risk of relapse.
- Enter client intakes, case notes, and discharges into VESTA.
- Perform unit inspections as expected by DHCD and document for annual audits.
- Integrate harm reduction, partner services, trauma‑informed services and health promotion.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.
- Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and/or funder requirements, as well as SMOC policies & procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
