Senior Software Engineer – Splunk and APM Administration and Development

Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer I – Splunk and Application Performance Monitoring Administration and Development is responsible for designing, configuring, and administering the Splunk observability platform. This role will manage large-scale ingestion and routing of log and event data across enterprise systems, ensuring reliable and scalable telemetry integration with our tools and platforms.

• Design, configure, and administer the Splunk observability platform for enterprise-scale log and event data management.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost by managing data pipelines, implementing automation, and enforcing governance standards.

• Expertise in log pipeline design and optimization, data retention and lifecycle management, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Strong proficiency in integrating Splunk with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise automation tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field.
• 7–10 years of deep hands‑on experience with Splunk.
• Strong experience managing observability data at scale.
• Experience integrating Splunk with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise systems.
