Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mule Soft Developer to support one of the nation’s leading cancer research and treatment institutes as it undergoes a significant period of change, including decoupling from an affiliated inpatient hospital system and preparing for a future merger with a new partner. This role will be directly involved in supporting both the decoupling and merger efforts and will play a key role in ensuring continuity, stability, and scalability across the integration landscape.

This Mule Soft Developer will design, build, and support integrations that enable secure data exchange between Epic and upstream and downstream systems across the enterprise. The developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining APIs and integration flows, supporting real time and near real time data movement for clinical and operational use cases, and ensuring integrations are reliable and production ready.

This role will work closely with integration architects, Epic analysts, and application teams to deliver scalable solutions that align with enterprise architecture and security standards. The developer will also monitor and troubleshoot production integrations, implement best practices around logging, error handling, and monitoring, and contribute to integration documentation, standards, and reusable assets. A strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7 is important, as this role supports critical clinical workflows where data accuracy and reliability are essential.
