Delivery Driver

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts and equipment with more than 300 locations across the United States.

We are hiring full-time Delivery Drivers to pick up and deliver automotive parts while following assigned routes, schedules, and customer service standards.

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy, and confirm customer satisfaction.
• Follow directions from the dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, use navigation apps, and adjust routes as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles, ensuring operations at customer locations are not disrupted.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling complaints professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debt and credit, and handle all moneys collected related to deliveries.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and report any issues to the manager.
• Assist with warehouse duties such as stock management and parts pulling as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years old or over to meet insurance requirements.
• Current valid automobile insurance with the driver’s name on the policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (up to 75 pounds for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers).

• Manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
