  • Coordinate with project management, operations, engineering, and field teams throughout the estimating process.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and customer meetings as needed.
  • Prepare bid proposals, clarifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain estimating databases, vendor pricing, and historical cost information.
  • Participate in project turnover meetings to support a smooth transition from estimating to operations.
  • Support negotiated work, design-build projects, conceptual budgeting, and competitive bids.
  • Stay current on market pricing, labor rates, and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial mechanical construction.
  • Strong experience estimating commercial HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.

  • Experience with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and digital takeoff platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with design-build, negotiated work, and competitive bidding is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
