Learning Center Aide

Qualifications:

* Must have excellent organizational skills

* Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

* Possesses and demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

* Possesses and demonstrates knowledge of English usage, grammar, and punctuation.

* Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

* Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all matters.

Essential Duties:

* Assists in the supervision of students visiting the learning center.

* Assists in the selection and ordering of library materials.

* Helps maintain an orderly and functional room environment conducive to learning,

* Presents educational information to students under the supervision of the classroom teacher

* Other duties as may be assigned.

Conditions:

* ISBE Paraprofessional Approval.

* Employed to work the school year
* $16.00 per hour plus benefits.
