Position: Elementary School Psychologist — Data-Driven IEPs (3rd–5th)

Empower students and provide essential support as a School Psychologist dedicated to serving 3rd5th grade learners in an engaging, onsite role. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to enhance academic and emotional growth for elementary students.

Key

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (3rd5th grades) is strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret data, and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and evaluations for students in 3rd5th grade, identifying learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Develop and participate in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive school environment
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation, as needed
  • Engage in data collection and progress monitoring to tailor interventions and measure outcomes
