Empower students and provide essential support as a School Psychologist dedicated to serving 3rd5th grade learners in an engaging, onsite role. This full‑time contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to enhance academic and emotional growth for elementary students.
KeyQualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with elementary‑aged students (3rd–5th grades) is strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret data, and implement evidence‑based interventions
- Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Perform assessments and evaluations for students in 3rd–5th grade, identifying learning, behavioral, and social‑emotional needs
- Develop and participate in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive school environment
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions
- Facilitate crisis intervention and de‑escalation, as needed
- Engage in data collection and progress monitoring to tailor interventions and measure outcomes
