Responsibilities
  • Overseeing upcoming Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) projects.
  • Staking outside plant (OSP) projects to create hand-drawn or computer-aided design (CAD) sketches of recommended engineering plans while in the field, making notations of land conditions and other relevant structures or landmarks.
  • Determining the ideal location for new above- and below-ground facilities and equipment.
  • Accurately depicting new construction route opportunities on work prints/staking sheets and accurately documenting existing measurements and proposed placements.
  • Supervising Outside Plant Inspectors to ensure engineering plans/specifications are being followed accordingly and accurately recording units placed each day.
  • Collaborating with clients and contractors to ensure a project's success by supporting schedule coordination, workflow monitoring, and cost tracking efforts.
Required Qualifications
