Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are hiring for a great client in Frankfort, IL. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who will provide direct behavioral support to students and assist in implementing behavior intervention strategies within a school-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and individualized behavior strategies
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress toward goals
  • Support students in developing social, communication, and functional skills
  • Assist in managing challenging behaviors using evidence-based ABA techniques
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent behavioral support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and data collection
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students
  • Participate in team meetings and follow guidance from supervising clinicians
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • High school diploma required;
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or behavioral needs
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting student growth and success
