Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Launch Operations will lead end‑to‑end facility startup, stabilization, and performance ramp of new and expanding sites across the North American Contract Logistics network. This role drives operational readiness, launch standardization, and operational excellence while partnering cross‑functionally with internal teams, customers, and site leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full site‑launch lifecycle from pre‑launch planning through go‑live and stabilization.
- Develop and execute launch plans covering site infrastructure, staffing, training, layout readiness, and SOP deployment.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure launch readiness and serve as the primary point of contact for launch activities and escalations.
- Ensure SOPs are implemented and validated prior to go‑live and drive consistency across sites through standardized processes and reporting.
- Validate system readiness across platforms such as GXD, Blue Yonder, Cargo Write, and other operational tools.
- Own site ramp performance post‑launch, monitor KPIs, throughput, safety, inventory, quality, service SLAs, and financial performance.
- Conduct regular site‑performance reviews, drive corrective actions, and work hands‑on where necessary.
- Partner effectively with local and central stakeholders and interface directly with customers during launch activities.
- Provide executive‑level updates on project and task status, operational performance, and proactive risk identification.
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- 7–10+ years in operations, supply chain, or related field.
- Experience leading multi‑site or large‑scale operations.
- Proven experience launching new facilities.
- Strong knowledge of operational systems and tools.
- Experience managing KPIs and financial performance.
- Experience with large enterprise customers.
- Background in multi‑site operations.

- 50–75% travel depending on launch schedule.
- Ability to support multiple site launches and maintain a flexible schedule during critical periods.

- Development and implementation of standardized launch playbook.
- Continuous improvement activities focused on launch‑related defects and disruptions.
Expected base pay range: $ – $ per year.
