Production Operator
Pay Range: $18/HR.
Frankfort, IL.
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday‑Weds 1:30‑11:30 PM, Thursday 1‑11 PM).
This position is temporary with an opportunity to be hired full‑time. Immediate start.
Job Duties- Grind reacted batches, package, shrink‑wrap full pallets, and move to the warehouse with a forklift.
- Report any equipment/process problems to the Production Manager and assist maintenance in troubleshooting.
- Assist digging kettles: tip kettle with hand block and tackle, remove batch with a forklift, break up mass with a sledgehammer, operate a front end loader to place material into totes.
- Charge kettles when directed by supervisor.
- Take finished good samples to the QA Lab for testing.
- Change grinder/sifter screens on the top deck by climbing a ladder to access the second deck.
- Grind/sift work‑in‑process and package specified weight into designated containers (drums, super sacks, bags, etc.).
- Ensure all containers/packages are labeled properly.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices: clean floor, equipment, and the top deck as outlined on the housekeeping schedule; manage the grinder 5‑S board for tool storage.
- High School Diploma / G.E.D preferred.
- Knowledge of production processes.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and be a team player.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Proficiency in basic math.
- Operate forklift trucks.
- Weekly Pay.

- Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers: up to 40 hours of paid leave in a 12‑month period after 90 calendar days of employment; accrue at 1 hour per 40 hours worked.
- 401(k) with company match for eligible employees: match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution and 50% of the next 2% (maximum 4% match). Eligibility after 1 year of work, 1,000 hours of service, and at least 21 years of age.
