Location: Frankfort, IL

Compensation:

• Up to $38.95 per hour – depending on experience

• 7am-7pm
• 7pm-7am
• 2-2-3 schedule

• Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming and extrusion process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
• Includes performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment. Also includes performing maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs all equipment and machinery including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders.
• Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy.
• Follows all company established rules and policies.
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
• Performs maintenance connection day‑by‑day duties.
• Be able to work in all areas of production.

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years automation technician experience within the manufacturing industry, or related experience
• Knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
• Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; knowledge of PLCs is preferred
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
• Flexibility to work overtime
