* Position Overview:

* Kelly Services is seeking a reliable Packer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Frankfort, IL.

This role offers the possibility for direct hire after 3-6 months, depending on your performance and attendance.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Perform manual duties including lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting

+ Package products to meet company efficiency standards for quantity and quality

+ Move and stack products using a hand cart and pallet jack

+ Operate packaging room machinery-start up, change over, and shut down as required

+ Pre-assemble components for packaging

+ Break down cardboard for recycling

+ Notify supervisor of any conditions needing machine maintenance

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

+ Follow the 6S production plan:
Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety

+ Assist other departments with job-related duties as assigned

** Requirements:*
* + Able to stand for extended periods

+ Able to lift, move, and stack up to 50 pounds

+ Comfortable with repetitive motions and frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, twisting, and pulling

+ Able to work in a variety of conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold

+ Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions in English

+ Strong communication skills with co-workers at all levels

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

+ Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

+ Capable of maintaining production standards and assisting other departments as needed
