Injection Molding Technicians
Pride Staff is currently seeking motivated and dependable Injection Molding Technicians for a premier manufacturing facility in Frankfort, IL. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals looking to build a career with a global industrial leader known for its innovative solutions.
Compensation & Shift Details- Pay Rate: $18.50/hr base pay
- Shift: Rotating 12-hour DAY shift (6:45 AM – 7:00 PM). Must be available to work every other weekend (Friday-Sunday). Training will take place on an 8-hour schedule M-F for the first few weeks.
- Location:
Frankfort, IL 60423 (near South Harlem Ave).
Reporting to the Manufacturing Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining production flow and ensuring all quality standards are met. This is an active, fast-paced role that requires significant standing and walking throughout the 12-hour shift.
Primary Responsibilities- Machine Operation:
Manage 12–15 injection molding machines within a production cell, including the operation of auxiliary equipment. - Quality Control:
Inspect products according to specific work instructions to ensure customer requirements are met. - Packaging:
Accurately label and package products for shipment. - Site Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards) and assist with tasks such as ladder climbing or clearing scrap material.
- High Activity:
Ability to stand and walk for up to 94% of the shift (potentially reaching 20,000 steps per day). - Heavy Lifting:
Regularly lift and move boxes or materials weighing up to 55 lbs. - Stamina:
Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, pushing carts, kneeling, and squatting.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. - Reliability:
Must have an excellent attendance and safety record. - Detail-Oriented:
Strong visual skills for product inspection and the ability to follow written instructions. - Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment or independently with minimal supervision. - Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Technical Aptitude:
Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are considered a plus.
