Parts Counterperson

Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, IL is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Full-time Parts Counter-person to join our team. As a Parts Counter-person, you will play an essential role in our dealership's daily operations by providing excellent customer service and assisting with the sales of automotive parts. This is a full-time hourly position with competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees are also eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan.

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries regarding automotive parts
• Locate and order parts as needed for customers and service technicians
• Receive and stock inventory of automotive parts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies
• Process and track purchase orders and invoices
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of new products and promotions
• Collaborate with sales team to reach sales goals
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales preferred
• Knowledge of auto parts and accessories
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory management software
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
