Our client, a  
** global automotive manufacturing supplier** , is seeking a  
** Purchasing Coordinator/Supply Chain Specialist
** to join their team. As a Purchasing Coordinator/Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the  
** Purchasing/Supply Chain Department
** supporting  
** internal operations teams and external supplier partners** . The ideal candidate will have  
** strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail** , which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $53,000 - $60,000

** What's the Job?*
* + Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing production, quality, and commercial concerns

+ Issue RFQs and ECNs, review supplier pricing, and validate costs against internal cost models

+ Manage supplier relationships, drive cost reduction initiatives (Kaizen, VA/VE), and support continuous improvement

+ Coordinate with internal teams on new model launches, tooling schedules, and production requirements

+ Monitor supplier performance, track pricing changes, and lead meetings to resolve supply chain issues

** What's Needed?*
* + 1+ year of experience in purchasing, supply chain, sales, or account management

+ Strong analytical and math skills to evaluate cost structures and supplier pricing

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools (Teams, etc.)

+ Ability to travel up to 25% and effectively manage supplier relationships
