EL Paraprofessional

Frankfort High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered EL (English Learner) Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will support English Learner students in achieving academic success while helping create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

Job Requirements:

• Assist EL students in classroom instruction and academic support
• Work collaboratively with teachers to support student learning and language development
• Provide small group and individual assistance to students
• Help students build confidence, organization, and communication skills
• Support translation and communication needs when appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Assist with supervision and other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate degree or college coursework preferred
• Experience working with students or youth preferred
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering student success
