Essential FunctionsMachine Operations – Verify quality dimensions, load/unload production lines, use measurement tools, 100% manual inspection of parts, change/adjust production tooling, completion of production documentation & proper use of JD Edwards. Additional Duties – Daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, replenish fluids/lubricants, and 5S cleaning responsibilities. Requires the operation of multiple machines at one time. Ensures compliance with safety rules, quality guidelines, and production efficiency standards.
- 70% – Perform load/unload, machine operation, trouble‑shouting, insert changes
- 15% – Quality Measurement Checks, including visual inspection of parts
- 10% – Complete required documentation
- 5% – Other duties as assigned
- Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Communication, Oral – Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word
- Problem Solving – Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work‑related problems
- Technical Aptitude – Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information

- Education:
High School Diploma or GED - Computer
Skills:
Minimal - Ensure safety, quality and efficiency standards are met
- Proficiency in the use of micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude & mathematical skills
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
Lift/Carry:
Stand constantly (10 lbs or less), Walk frequently (11‑20 lbs), Sit occasionally (21‑50 lbs), Handling/Fingering frequently (51‑100 lbs), Reach outwards constantly.
Push/Pull:
Reach above shoulder frequently (12 lbs or less), Climb occasionally (13‑25 lbs), Bend occasionally (26‑40 lbs), Squat or kneel frequently (41‑100 lbs).

Physical Requirements:
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) – high visibility clothing, ear protection, safety glasses, steel toe shoes/boots.
We run a 24/7 auto parts manufacturing plant where we do CNC machine work for CV Joints/HUBs.
